Swiss Cheese Fondue

Ingredients
- 12 ounces (3 cups) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon Argo® Corn Starch
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white ground pepper
- 1-1/2 cups dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons kirsch, optional
- Crusty bread OR fresh vegetables
Directions
- Toss cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt and white pepper.
- Heat wine, over low heat, in medium saucepan. Heat until wine is hot and bubbles begin to form around edges. Add cheese mixture gradually, a handful at a time, stirring until cheese is melted. Stir constantly until all the cheese has been added. Stir in kirsch, if desired.
- Remove from heat and pour into fondue pot, small chafing dish or small slow cooker. Serve with crusty bread or fresh vegetables.
