Ingredients

  • 1 pound fettuccine noodles OR other pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter (no substitutes)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black fine grind pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Argo® Corn Starch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet. Gradually whisk in cream, parmesan cheese and black pepper until smooth but not boiling. Mix corn starch and water together; gradually whisk into alfredo sauce.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Drain pasta and toss with sauce. For extra flavor, sprinkle with cajun seasoning, smoked paprika or chipotle chile.
