Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons Argo® Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter OR margarine
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon poppy seed
- 1 teaspoon whole white sesame seed
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or two knives, until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add cheese and mix well. Stir in milk, mixing until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Pat dough out on a lightly floured surface to a 6-inch square. Cut into 3 x 2-inch recatangular biscuits using a sharp knife, and place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in center of oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly browned.
